Past MD Testimonials
"Dr. Rahul Gupta's practical teachings have been a game changer and have given me new tools to approach challenging clinical interactions with fresh eyes and awakened curiosity. I feel empowered to revisit what I reluctantly felt were hopeless situations - I look forward to joining my patients and colleagues in the search for the hidden doors and windows!"
Dr. Caroline Schooner, Participant Haida Gwaii 2024
“This weekend educational workshop in Smithers was the single most helpful CME opportunity that I have experienced. Burnout seems to be a ubiquitous, pervasive, and increasingly common situation for my colleagues and friends - and the skills and attitudes you teach and portray are direct antidotes to it. I use these approaches daily and have found this only strengthened my love for my career and keeps me from feeling overwhelmed. I teach residents and med students some version of your core tenets…because I think this is something SO important that is missing from most conversations about physician burnout and overall job satisfaction.”
Dr. Danielle Pichie, Participant Smithers 2018
“My clinical application of the tools I learned has been distilled down to a few basic but incredibly valuable tools to which patients respond very positively. I find even in a busy emergency setting I can take a few extra minutes to use these conversations to encourage patients to start making potentially sustainable and honest changes. These teachings have fundamentally shifted the way I see a patient’s potential to understand their own health and affect positive change for themselves.”
