2025 International Chemical Recovery Conference

Welcome to the 2025 International Chemical Recovery Conference!

We are delighted to announce the reconvening of the International Chemical Recovery Conference (ICRC), the preeminent event for pulp mill chemical recovery technology.

The conference will take place on September 24-26, 2025, at the Chestnut Conference Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

We are currently soliciting abstracts on the following topics:

• Black liquor evaporation plants

• Recovery of organics from black liquor

• Thermal conversion of black liquor, including Kraft recovery boilers

• Dissolving tank operation and safety

• Recausticizing operations

• Lime cycle and kiln operations

• Carbon dioxide sequesteration
