Flying into Toronto
Toronto is a major international hub with two primary airports: Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ). Pearson handles domestic and international flights, and has non-stop flights from most major cities. Billy Bishop is a regional airport located on Toronto Island, just minutes from downtown, that handles flights from select Canadian and U.S. cities.
Getting into the City
From Pearson International Airport (YYZ), you have several options for getting to downtown Toronto. The Union Pearson Express (UP Express) is a 25-minute train service connecting the airport to downtown Toronto. Trains depart every 15 minutes and tickets are $12.35.
Taxis and rideshares are readily available at the airport, and a typical ride to downtown takes around 30-55 minutes, depending on traffic.
Passengers arriving at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) can quickly connect to the mainland by taking the ferry or the pedestrian tunnel. Once on the mainland, YTZ is directly connected to Toronto’s downtown core by public transit, car, complimentary shuttle to Union Station. The Chestnut Conference Centre is about a 15-minute car ride from YTZ.
