Abstract Submission Guidelines

The State of Enterics: Capitalizing on Opportunities

Abstract submissions will be accepted through August 25, 2023.

• Early August, 2023 - Abstract Submissions Open
• August 25, 2023 - Abstract Submissions Close
• September 22, 2023 - Abstract Notifications
• October 2, 2023 - Late-Breaker Abstract Submissions Open
• October 16, 2023 - Late-Breaker Abstract Submission Close
• November 1, 2023 - Late-Breaker Abstract Notifications
  

Eligibility

Submissions should not have been presented at a national conference or InFORM regional meeting in the United States within the past year. All abstracts will be evaluated by 2024 InFORM discipline-specific sub-committees using a variety of criteria including scientific merit, timeliness, relevance, clarity, and potential impact.

General Information

• Abstracts may not be modified after the submission deadline during the review period. Submitting authors may make minor changes after an abstract is submitted until the abstract submission deadline.
• By submitting an abstract, you or an alternate presenting author are committing to attending the in-person conference and giving the presentation if the abstract is accepted. All presenting authors are required to register for the conference and pay the associated registration fee. InFORM does not provide a travel allowance, honorarium, or reimbursement for presenting at the conference; however, travel scholarships may be available.
• All speakers are required to register for the conference by Friday, December 15, 2023 for their presentation to be listed in the agenda.
• There are no restrictions on the number of abstracts you may submit or the number of submissions you may be selected to present.
• All abstracts must be scientifically based and should not promote services and/or goods.
• Abstracts containing late-breaking outbreak or event responses not available at the regular abstract deadline may be submitted as a late-breaker abstract. Please see ‘Important Dates’ for the timeline for submitting late-breaker abstracts.

Abstract Submission Requirements

• Submitting authors must ensure that all required information for their abstract proposal is completed in-full.
• Submissions for single presenter and multiple presenter/panel formats must include two to three learning objectives.
• All submissions must acknowledge that they have read and agree to the 2024 InFORM abstract submission instructions.
• Proposals that are late or do not meet format requirements will not be considered for review.
• All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract system no later than 11:59pm ET on Friday, August 25, 2023.
• Formal letters of invitation and regret for regular abstract submissions will be sent by email by Friday, September 22, 2023.
