InSPIRE 2025

Welcome to InSPIRE 2025!

The Waypoint Research Institute is excited to resume our annual conference series, starting with Integrating Science, Practice, Innovation, Research and Experience (InSPIRE) 2025. This conference aims to highlight and explore innovative and inclusive approaches to research, practice, and engagement in the mental health and substance use sector. InSPIRE 2025 will take place at the Village Conference Centre in Blue Mountain, Ontario from June 3rd & 4th, 2025.

This conference will feature diverse topics, both academic and applied, including:

  • Knowledge translation/mobilization

  • Implementation science

  • Quality and/or systems improvement in mental health and substance use health, and

  • Collaboration/ partnerships between mental health and other related systems.

Attendees will have access to lightning talks, workshops, discussions, conversations, as well as traditional academic paper presentations.

The target audience for this conference is anyone with an interest in knowledge translation and implementation science, and issues relating to evidence-based practices in mental health and addictions. The focus is interdisciplinary and will be of interest to:

  • Hospital or community-based clinicians

  • People with lived experience

  • Researchers and academics

  • Knowledge translation/implementation practitioners

  • Students

  • Public health

  • Community members

  • Project managers

  • Leaders and policy makers in mental health and substance use health
