Welcome to ISCM 2026

It is our great pleasure to announce that the 18th International Symposium on Cholinergic Mechanisms (ISCM2026) will take place in Montreal, Canada, during the summer of 2026 at the world-renowned Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital (The Neuro), located on the McGill University campus.

Since 1970, ISCM has brought together researchers from around the world to explore the many facets of the cholinergic system—from molecules to medicine. ISCM 2026 will continue this tradition with a dynamic program of talks, discussions, and networking opportunities.

In 2026, the symposium is heading to Montreal’s vibrant downtown, just a stone's throw from Mount Royal Park and all the city's summer excitement. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee in the Old Port, exploring the festivals, or soaking in the sounds of the famous Montreal Jazz Festival, there’s no shortage of things to do. Get ready for inspiring science, great conversations, and plenty of opportunities to experience the lively spirit of Montreal — both in and out of the lecture hall.
