Conference from Heide Ibrahim
Heide Ibrahim, Head of scientific coordination and communication of the laboratory, ALLS - INRS
Title: Of macroscopic and microscopic Roaming
Biography: Heide Ibrahim received a Ph.D. degree in coherent control schemes from Freie Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 2008. She continued in this field as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Molecular Science, Okazaki, Japan, before she moved on to the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) in Québec, to work as a Banting fellow with dynamic transmission electron microscopy and ultrafast electron diffraction. She is currently a Research associate at the INRS and interested in ultrafast imaging of molecular rearrangements by Coulomb explosion imaging and on laser source development based on Fourier-domain nonlinear optics. She is part of the management team of the Advanced Laser Light Source (ALLS) and an adjunct professor at the university of Ottawa.
