Welcome to our new UBC Trainee Accommodations and Ground Transportation website!

The BC Diabetes Research Network is helping to organize travel logistics for the UBCO Diabetes & Obesity Research Day (DORD) being held in Kelowna BC. The DORD meeting date is June 12, 2024. Group departure is Tuesday June 11 @ 9 am - return June 13 by 6 pm. There will be two fun pit stops planned during the travel days.

This website is collecting detailed contact information on who is travelling with our group and cost recovery for the transportation & accommodations.

Note: UBC needs to charge costs back to Supervisors for their trainee travel and accommodations for external meetings.

Here are the main objectives of the website:

• Collect your contact information and UBC employee number (Workday ID number and collect your Supervisor grant information for cost recovery
• Select if you will board the bus at UBC campus or BC Children's Hospital campus
• Collect special requests
• Collect contact information for non-UBC delegates
