Our mission is to promote inclusive dialogue and exchange of data and ideas about the molecular and cellular bases of cognition. Our meetings are characterized by diverse, inter-disciplinary neuroscience, and a focus on scientific presentations by trainees.

MCCS 2024

Join us in Chicago for MCCS 2024!

MCCS will be held in person in Chicago, on October 3-4, 2024. At the conference you can share your work in our poster session, apply to give an invited talk, network with other neuroscientists, and so much more.

Poster Session:

The traditional MCCS Poster Session and reception will be held from 6.00 PM - 9.00 PM on Thursday October 3rd at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Potocsnak Family Atrium, 303 E Superior St., Chicago, IL 60611. The Poster Session will be collated according to theme, and guided Poster Tours will be provided by MCCS council members.

Symposium:

The MCCS Symposium will be held from 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM on Friday October 4th, 2024 at McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago, Room S102.

Registration Fees:

New this year, we will be charging a registration fee for MCCS attendance to offset rising meeting costs. We wish we could continue to offer free registration, but we cannot provide the meeting the society has come to expect without funds to cover the costs. Registration fees include abstract submission and both days of the conference. On-site registration is possible, but advance registration is preferable.

Faculty: $250.00 ($300.00 after Sep 9nth)

Postdoctoral researchers: $150.00 ($180.00 after Sep 9th)

Graduate students: $120.00 (($150.00 after Sep 9th)

Research assistants/technicians: $120.00 ($150.00 after Sep 9th)

Undergraduate students: Free
