The NHRC continues to explore research activities within Northern Ontario arising from community-based activities. Join us to network and to learn about projects underway from students, residents, and community-based researchers. Projects will be divided into the following Themes:

• Clinical and Translational Health (Cardiovascular, Cancer, Surgery, Primary Care)

• Biomedical and Basic Sciences (Environmental Health, Physiology, Biological Systems and Functions, Disease Process, Diagnostics and Therapeutics)

• Population and Public Health (Chronic Disease, Rural Medicine, Health Services, Social Determinants of Health)

• Humanities and Social Sciences (Indigenous Peoples' Health, Francophone Health, Health Professions Education)

This conference demonstrates NOSM University’s commitment to health care and education to the people of Northern Ontario and beyond.

Cancellation Policy

The NOSM U CEPD office reserves the right to cancel courses if required. Registrants will be notified as early as possible if this course is cancelled.

Registration fees for courses cancelled by NOSM U CEPD office will be refunded; however NOSM U CEPD will not be liable for any loss, damage or other expenses that such cancellation may cause.

In the event that a participant needs to withdraw from the program after registering, a cancellation administration fee will be applied. Please see below for cancellation deadlines and associated fees:

Cancellation within seven days of the conference receives zero refund

Cancellation eight days or more before the conference receives a refund of 75% of the paid fee
