NOSM Pan-Northern Leadership Rounds:
A Monthly Forum for NOSM Physician Leaders

Effective leadership skills are best learned through blended activities including pertinent readings, guided reflection, sharing leadership challenges, conversations with leadership peers, and opportunities to apply relevant learnings within one’s clinical, educational, or administrative setting. Essential for leadership success is the ability to learn from difficult situations by creating safe avenues for personal growth by exploring leadership challenges with peers.
Learning Objectives:
1. Explore important leadership concepts relevant to leading in Northern Ontario.
2. Create a safe environment to learn with leadership colleagues and from current leadership challenges.
3. Apply leadership learnings to one’s clinical, education, or administrative setting.
Starting June 8th, Rounds are schedule for the second Tuesday of the month, from 8:30-9:30 p.m.

June 8th, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th, October 12th, and November 9th
Web Session Description:
Leadership Rounds, 60 minutes in length, for a cohort of 25 faculty members. Rounds preparation will include pre-reading a selected leadership article. Each Rounds will include review of a selected leadership article, discussion of possible leadership applications, and exploring leadership challenges with facilitated group discussion. Participants may be divided into two smaller discussion groups.

Refund Policy:
Requests for refunds must be received prior to June 1, 2021. After this date no refunds will be issued. Eligible refunds will be made in full, less a $50 cancelation fee.
*Space is limited to 25 NOSM faculty members - registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
