Welcome to our 3rd Annual Northern Ontario Virtual Emergency Conference!

This year's conference will once again consist of Physician stream as well as Paramedicine/Nursing Stream. We are very excited to be able to offer this conference virtually to all of you. This year's conference will look at a range of topics including Pediatric Sepsis, Toxicology, Postpartum Emergencies, Agitation and Sedation in the Emergency Department, Simulation development in rural communities. Other features include a Trauma panel, a Meli-Melo of Emergency Medicine topics, Rural Nursing and Community Paramedicine.

Conference Learning Objectives

After this event, participants will be able to:

1. Describe new developments and emerging issues in the field of Emergency Medicine.
2. Review common clinical presentations in the ED that lead to error and implement measures to reduce risks.
3. Promote evidence based practice as it relates universally to rural and remote emergency departments and urban centers

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees for courses cancelled by the NOSM U CEPD office will be refunded; however NOSM U CEPD will not be liable for any loss, damage or other expenses that such cancellation may cause.

* Cancellation fees are non-refundable.
