Welcome to the abstract submission page for GLP-OSM5!

Abstract Submissions has CLOSED.

Instructions for choosing your session

*Note that some 'innovative and immersive' and 'workshop and training' sessions are not accepting abstracts. This is noted in the session title.

Each oral presentation will be paired to a specific session based on review by the OSM scientific committee and abstracts may be placed in alternative sessions if the session is at capacity/not available. Poster presentations should choose the appropriate theme and select "poster presentation" for presentation format.

Session Numbering

  • The first digit of each session number refers to the three main conference themes:

1 = The State of the World
2 = Imagining the Future(s)
3 = Enabling Transformative Changes

  • The second and third digits of each session indicate the session number.
  • The final letter in each session number indicates what type of session it is:

P = Poster
R = Research
N = Innovative or immersive
T = Training or workshop

* Note to session organizers: All session numbering has been changed from the initial submission phase. Please note your new session number using the above format.

Important!

  • Each conference participant may be presenting author to only one submission. This rule will be strictly enforced. Submissions for which the presenting author does not register for the conference in due time will be canceled.
  • Invited speakers are those that were invited by session organizers during the session submission process.
  • All abstracts will be subject to the full review process.
  • Abstracts are limited to 300 words.
  • The conference language is English and all session proposals must be submitted in English.
  • Abstract submissions will be considered for best paper awards
  • You will be asked to choose a presentation format (full oral presentation, flash/speed talk, or poster)
  • Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt including an abstract ID number, which should be quoted in all correspondence. Allow X amount of time for your receipt to arrive in your mailbox.
  • Once the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors must register for the OSM and present the paper at the OSM.
