In-Person and Virtual

This year we are welcoming conference participants back to in-person learning at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre. For interested participants who may not be able to travel to Sudbury, or for those who aren't quite comfortable with in-person environments just yet, we have designed the conference as a hybrid event, so that virtual participation is also an option.

This year's conference will look at a range of topics with plenary speakers presenting on Eating Disorders and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and breakout sessions on GERD and Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), Celiac Disease, Adolescent Contraception, and Disordered Sleep. We will once again be doing a journal club which will highlight five relevant journal articles from the last year, and a 'quick hits' session which will address commonly encountered pediatric diagnosis and treatment options.

Conference Learning Objectives:

1. Develop an organized approach to the diagnosis and management of common pediatric medical issues.
2. Utilize the team-based approach to pediatric care in Northern Ontario.
3. Identify resources to deal with common pediatric medical issues and describe how to access these resources.

Registration Fees

• Physicians - $175.00
• Nurses and Nurse Practitioners - $130.00
• Allied Health Professionals - $130.00
• Residents and Learners - $80.00

Cancellation Fees

The NOSM CEPD office reserves the right to cancel courses if required. Registrants will be notified as early as possible if this course is cancelled.

Registration fees for courses cancelled by NOSM CEPD office will be refunded; however NOSM CEPD will not be liable for any loss, damage or other expenses that such cancellation may cause.

In the event that a participant needs to withdraw from the program after registering, a cancellation administration fee will be applied. Please see below for cancellation deadlines and associated fees:

• March 10, 2023 and prior: $30.00
• March 11 - March 31, 2023: $65.00
• April 1 - April 14, 2023 - No Refund
