Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Student Engineering Research Conference at Polytechnique Montréal. This unique event, taking place from March 30 to April 1st, 2026, aims to showcase the work of the research community in all engineering fields, promote interdisciplinary exchanges, and foster connections between the academic community and the professional world.
Join us to explore scientific advancements, discover new perspectives, and celebrate research excellence at Polytechnique Montréal!

Learn how to write a clear, structured, and compelling scientific abstract to better showcase your research to an evaluation committee or the public at a conference.
Date and location: Tuesday, January 20, at 12:30 p.m. in L-7615 (library)
Facilitator: Prof. Gabriel Éthier-Majcher
Gabriel is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He earned his bachelor's and doctoral degrees in engineering physics from Polytechnique Montréal (2009 and 2016). From 2016 to 2018, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Before joining the faculty, he led the quantum devices team at Anyon Systems, a Montreal-area company developing quantum computers.
