The Centre de Recherche en Biologie Structurale (CRBS) and the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Center (RI-MUHC) are pleased to welcome you as part of their participation in the Science POP scientific communication competition.
Come to listen to our graduate students and postdoctoral fellows tell you in less than 7 minutes about their science stories in an accessible language
Encourage our next generation of scientists for the provincial grand final and take the time to discuss with them about the impact of science on our lives.

What is Science POP?
Science POP is a Quebec-wide initiative in scientific communication that aims to promote the dialogue between science and society, while encouraging the personal and professional accomplishment of graduate students in health sciences beyond their research work or academic curriculum.
All relevant details are on the official Science POP website. including the admissibility criteria, the three proposed challenges and the main upcoming milestones.

Getting ready for the challenge - Toolbox
You will find below the documents and tools you will need to participate in this competition, including:
- A commitment form (required to sign up as a challenge candidate);
- Various summary sheets presenting the expectations of each challenge, a few guidelines for the title and description of your presentation, as well as the rules to follow when preparing your presentation and while on stage.
- A .rar folder with the Science POP graphic guidelines, such as official logos, fonts, color codes and slide templates (if any are used in your presentation).
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for carefully reading the competition rules listed in the 'How to participate' section of the Science POP official website, regarding candidate admissibility and obligations throughout the competition.
