    Discussion panel: Causal inference

    - Dr. Janie Coulombe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Montreal, focusing on the development of estimators in causal inference that can be used with observational data. - Dr. Mireille Schnitzer is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Montreal. Her current research in statistical methods focuses on data-driven variable selection and smoothing in causal inference, integrating machine learning, and causal inference for individual patient data meta-analyses. - Dr. Geneviève Lefebvre is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She is interested in the general applications of statistics in epidemiology, including causal inference. One application she is currently working on is determining the effects of inhaled corticosteroids, used in the treatment of asthma, on pregnant women and their babies.
