Welcome to the 53rd Southern Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry Conference! (Also referred to as the 2nd Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry Conference)

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Guelph is excited to invite you to join us for the annual gathering of undergraduate chemistry, biochemistry and related area students in Ontario (and neighbouring provinces/areas). This event will showcase the research conducted by our province's undergraduate researchers, but also provide an opportunity for these students to discuss their research while networking and forming new collaboration among attendees.

Join us for a day of insightful talks, poster presentations, and opportunities to connect with other students. We can't wait to see you there!

If you would like to be considered for an oral presentation, please ensure abstracts are submitted before March 15th 2025.

Travel Awards

We want to provide students with the opportunity to attend so we are happy to announce you can apply for a travel award to help offset the costs of attending the conference, such as registration, gas, accommodations etc.
