Welcome to the Annual CRIV Symposium

We are delighted to welcome you to the second edition of the Annual CRIV Symposium, taking place on May 6 and 7 at the Grand Salon of the Alphonse-Desjardins Pavilion, Université Laval.

This year, we are honored to host two distinguished speakers:

• Dr. Gregg A. Howe, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University (Profile)

• Dr. Jacynthe Masse, Researcher in Functional Agroecology at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (Profile)

In addition to these keynote presentations, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the work of young PIs and postdoctoral fellows from our center. The symposium will also feature our annual student seminar and poster competition, showcasing the latest advancements in plant biology research.

We will conclude the event with a panel discussion on the role and impact of AI in plant biology research, providing valuable insights into the future of the field. Our panelists for this discussion will be:
