FM Update was designed to meet the needs of our family physicians in Thunder Bay and the surrounding communities. As there is no longer a family medicine focused conference locally, this will be an opportunity to learn more about the emerging clinical topics as a general practitioner, develop our knowledge and leadership skills as faculty members and preceptors, understand our supports organizations within the region as a provincial member, and network with fellow colleagues. 

We have a variety of presentations lined up to satisfy your CME cravings! Some of the topics for this year include: Addiction medicine in northern Ontario, Gerontology, Skin Issues/Dermatology for the primary care provider, and other popular primary care topics.

Who should Attend? Family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, learners, and all members from healthcare teams.

Conference Learning Objectives:

1. Discuss updates and review new clinical approaches to addiction medicine, gerontology, dermatology, and other popular primary

   care presentations.

2. Reflect on our role as mentor and develop skills to improve physician wellness.

• Allied Health (OT, PT, etc..) - $100.00
• Medical Learner - $75.00 
• Nursing Student - $50.00
• NOSM Staff/Admin (Non Physician) - $50.00

Cancellation Policy

A 50% administrative fee will be deducted from the purchased ticket price for any refunds issued 7 days prior to the event. There will be no refunds issued 7 or less days from the event date.
