Teachings and protocol from the local Indigenous community
Traditional foods, songs, protocols, language, history, and stories.
A deeper understanding of residential school trauma.
Connections with local health staff and providers.
The opportunity for on-going learning and relationship-building between participants and Indigenous communities.
