...provides health services and stakeholders an opportunity to share and showcase their achievements in transforming the Australian system for VBHC, highlighting initiatives that redefine health care around the outcomes that matter to people and communities for the cost of achieving those outcomes.

How will the Award winners be decided?

  • An expert judging panel will decide the winners of The Telstra Health Innovation Award, The Navigator Group Transformation Award, and The Transport Accident Commission Equity Award. Award winners will be announced the the 2023 VBHC Congress in Brisbane on the 26th and 27th of October.
  • The People's Choice Poster Prize will be decided by popular vote. Visit our virtual poster showcase to view the over 50 ousting applications and vote for your favourite via our online voting form (one vote per person).

How will the posters be presented at the conference?

  • The Posters will be showcased through the virtual poster showcase on the VBHC Congress website. People will be able to view the posters online at the congress, and in the lead up to the Congress, and vote for their favourite for the People’s Choice Poster Prize.

What is the poster paper size requirement?

  • There are no requirements on paper size dimensions or layouts etc as it is a virtual poster - just a data limit of 100MB or less.

Do you require the poster to be in portrait/landscape?

  • There is no requirement for the posters to be in either portrait or landscape. We are flexible in allowing applicants to submit what they feel best illustrates their work and outcomes.

What paper size is best suited to 100MB?

  • 100MB is not related to the physical size of the poster (eg A4 or A3), it is related to the electronic file size. You can submit a poster of any size as long as the data that is included on it is under the 100MB.

Will my poster be printed?

  • The showcase will be virtual so posters will not be required to be printed.

Will additional figures of information provided be displayed publicly?

  • The inclusion of additional figures or files is to aid in the judging of the awards. They will not appear to the public but will be made available to the Award judging panel.

Is there a word limit for the posters?

  • There is no word limit for the posters. We are flexible in allowing applicants to submit what they feel best illustrates their work and outcomes.
  • There is a word limit of 250-350 words on the description of your project section to support your poster submission.
