POSTER SPECIFICATIONS - DISPLAYING YOUR POSTER AT THE CONFERENCE

Poster boards will be 8 feet wide by 4 feet high (243cm x 121cm)

· Posters should be produced in horizontal/landscape format

· Posters should not be larger than 8 feet wide by 4 feet high (243cm x 121cm)

· Posters will be affixed to the poster board with push pins

· Each poster will be assigned to a specific poster board. A list of assignments will be available when installing your poster.

Poster Installation

· Posters may be installed on Monday, August 25 as of 8am

· Posters will be grouped by

Poster Removal

· Posters must be removed by 5:30pm on Tuesday, August 26. Posters not removed or collected by this time will be discarded.

Posters Viewing Times for Conference Participants

· Monday, August 25: during breaks and the poster reception at the end of the day

· Tuesday, August 26: during breaks

MODERATED POSTER GUIDELINES

· The moderated poster session will take place in the Trillium Ballroom (same rooms as the conference sessions). Refer to your acceptance notification for the exact date and time of your session.

· Total time allocated to each presenter is 14 minutes: 10 minutes for your presentation PLUS 4 minutes for Q&A.

· You will be one of four (4) presenters in this session.

· You may create a PowerPoint presentation.

· Bring your PowerPoint presentation with you on a USB stick and give it to the Audio Visual technician in the room.

ELECTRONIC POSTERS IN THE MOBILE APPLICATION AND ON THE WEBSITE

For your poster to be available electronically, you must upload an electronic version to Fourwaves (where you submitted your abstract).

· Electronic files cannot exceed 110MB and should be in one of the following formats: jpeg, png, gif or PDF.

· Horizontal/landscape orientation works best.

· Please DO NOT modify your abstract when uploading your poster - typos are the exception.

After logging into your Fourwaves account https://dashboard.fourwaves.com/login

1. Click on the upper right corner of the web browser window (silhouette of a person)
2. In the Participant Dashboard, select Submissions
3. Click on the submission title
4. On the right of the web page, select “Edit Submission”
5. Scroll down to the Upload Poster field
6. Complete the task and click Save Form
