International conference — 6th Edition: Addiction, Family Members, and Affected Others
AFINet
The Addiction and the Family International Network (AFINet) promotes, through research, practice, and policy, the well-being of family members, friends, and colleagues who are affected by and/or concerned about another person's problems or addiction to alcohol, drugs, or gambling.
The AFINet Conference 2025 is a great opportunity for people from around the world- including researchers, practitioners, policy experts, and indiviuals with lived experience- to come together and discuss current work aimed at improving the lives of family members of individuals struggling with alcohol, drugs, or gambling issues.
The conference will be held in both French and English and is open to everyone, members and non-members. Keynote presentations will be simultaneously translated, while many other presentations will have slides available in both French and English.
Any opinion or viewpoint expressed by the speakers during the conference is solely that of the authors and does not in any way reflect the positions of the organizing committee, AFINet, Université Laval, UQTR, or any other organization supporting the holding of this congress.
