The Canadian Association for Research Excellence in Leukodystrophy (CARELeuko) is excited to welcome you to the 2025 CARELeuko Symposium: Uniting Canada's Leukodystrophy Community to Drive Collaboration and Accelerate Research and Care!

The 2025 CARELeuko Symposium is taking place on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This scientific symposium is designed to bring together clinicians, researchers, patient advocacy leaders, and patient and industry partners from across Canada and beyond to share recent advances in leukodystrophy research and care. Our goal is to foster open dialogue, highlight emerging opportunities, and strengthen interdisciplinary, cross-national collaboration to improve outcomes for individuals and families affected by these rare and complex disorders across Canada.

We are also pleased to host a poster session highlighting innovative research in leukodystrophies and related fields. Space is limited — only the first 25 abstracts submitted will be accepted. Please submit your abstract using the Abstract Submission tab above.
