Instruction for the conferences and e-posters

A. Online conferences (15 min)

You must provide your own recording of your conference:

· 15 min. maximum.

· 1080p (full HD) or at least 720p (HD) in 16:9 format.

· Format .MP4 or .MOV format video file.

· Only landscape format (horizontal).

Use a visual support (ex : PowerPoint). Ideally, film yourself while recording your presentation using, for example, the Zoom application or the PowerPoint recording feature.

B. Student Competition (5 min)

You must provide your own recording of your short-conference:

· 5 min. maximum.

· 1080p (full HD) or at least 720p (HD) in 16:9 format.

· Format .MP4 or .MOV format video file.

· Only landscape format (horizontal).

· Use a visual support (ex : PowerPoint). Ideally, film yourself while recording your presentation using, for example, the Zoom application or the PowerPoint recording feature.

Prizes

18 participants are enlisted in the student competition.

· 1^st price 1 000$ CND

· 2^nd price: 500$ CND

· 3^rd price: 250$ CND

Evaluation of the competition

Criteria used for the evaluation were sent to the participants.

You can also participate to the e-Poster session using the same presentation.

C. e-Poster session

For your e-poster presentation you have the choice : PDF file and/or a 5-minute video.

PDF specifications:

· Landscape or portrait orientation

· You can choose the dimensions and format (Letter, Legal, A4…)

Video specifications:

You could use a video format to present your poster. That could be an interesting format to present your results, using a unique or multiple slides.
