Welcome to the IDF International Cheese Science and Technology Symposium 2021

The Canadian National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (IDF-IDF CANADA), in collaboration with the Centre de recherche en sciences et technologie du lait (STELA) of Université Laval, are pleased to present the International Dairy Federation (IDF) 2021 International Cheese Science and Technology Symposium to be held the week of June 7 to 11, 2021 and the platform is available until July 9, 2021.

Three mornings of scientific presentations and much more on the program:

  • Short student oral presentation contest
  • Networking tools between authors and participants

More than 20 hours of programmation available during one month to catch all scientific results in the comfort of your office!

This prestigious symposium is held every four years in different countries around the world. It showcases advances in research and innovation as well as newly developed expertise. This edition will cover the microbial ecology of cheeses, ripening, flavor, texture, authenticity, functionality, health and nutrition, processing efficiency and processes. The Symposium is also the place to discover young professionals from the dairy and cheese sciences who present their scientific research projects.

In addition, the Novalait Techno Forum, on June 8 and 10, will feature a selection of discoveries that can fuel innovation on farms and in dairy plants.
