Panel 1 : In the face of multiple crises, how can we act together to bring about social transformation?
The current combination of economic, social, ecological, political and democratic crises is generating both collective inhibition and individual powerlessness. How can we overcome this to collectively bring about social transformations that match what is at stake? The current context represents a critical moment for testing our ability to act together, beyond our respective spheres. As initiatives emerge here and elsewhere to recreate ties and solidarity, reintroduce democracy into confiscated spaces, and deepen commitments to the sustainability transitions, this panel gives a voice to key players in Quebec civil society to nourish our desire to take action.
