Conditions and guidelines for abstract submission
Conditions
Registration is mandatory before you may submit an abstract.
You may submit an abstract for either the in-person event (8th - 11th April 2025) or the virtual event (7th April 2025).
You can submit 1 abstract.
If you submit an abstract for the in-person event, your abstract may be selected for the poster session. The highest-scoring abstracts will be eligible for oral presentation.
If you submit an abstract for the virtual event, your abstract may be selected for the virtual poster session.
All accepted abstracts will be shared on CMN after the final programme is available.
The abstract submission deadline is the 17th of January 2025.
Guidelines
The abstract should contain a maximum of 500 words and should be written in English.
The abstract should be presented as cohesive, uninterrupted text.
The abstract should not be divided into separate sections such as "introduction, methods, results."
The abstract should provide a concise summary of the entire study, highlighting key aspects and findings.
Avoid using CAPITAL LETTERS for the entire title of your abstract.
List all authors' names with initials and surnames. Do not CAPITALISE the entire name.
Exclude acknowledgments or references from your abstract, as they will be included in the word count.
Select the subject area that best fits your abstract to guarantee the identification of appropriate reviewers for your work.
Please make sure the email provided will be valid throughout the reviewing process, as it will be used to contact you about the outcome of your submission.
My abstract has been submitted. Now what?
Your abstract will be reviewed by a panel of experts who will evaluate your work based on defined parameters.
The outcome will be communicated to you via email in the end of February 2025 using the email address you provide during abstract submission.
If you haven't received a notification by February 28th, please check your spam/junk folder or contact CRISPRMED25 staff at info@crisprmedicineconference.com.
In case you wish to withdraw your submission, please do so as early as possible.
Confirmation by invited oral presenters
All delegates who have been notified of the acceptance of their abstract for oral presentation must confirm their intention to present as instructed in the email notification.
