CSMB2023 - Metabolic Regulation of Cell Signalling
From May 30 - June 2nd in 2023 the Ottawa Institute of Systems Biology (OISB) will host the 66th Annual Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences (CSMB) Meeting in Ottawa, at the University of Ottawa campus. The conference theme will be "Metabolic Regulation of Cell Signalling”. This will be an opportunity to showcase Canadian Science in an emerging field and to develop new research opportunities and collaborations. Our aim is to attract researchers from across Canada and internationally by offering top-tier speakers and special programming for trainees, all at an affordable cost. We encourage you to register your entire team!
We emphasize that the conference is designed to be broad in nature - If you are doing work in any area of molecular biosciences, we encourage you to attend the meeting and present your latest research! The meeting is ideal for trainees, with 75 % of platform talks picked from abstracts. Some platform sessions will run in parallel, but the entire group will come together for the keynote address and award talks. The conference will feature 2 poster sessions.
In addition to coffee breaks mid-morning and at poster sessions, registration includes:
Day 1 - Catered evening reception at uOttawa
Day 2 - Lunch and Dinner
Day 3 - Lunch
Day 4 - Lunch and catered evening reception at the Canadian Museum of Nature (casual dress).
The conference begins with trainee-centred workshops at 12 pm on May 30th. The meeting ends with the evening banquet on June 2nd.
