Participants will be able to (a) evaluate various QI activities occurring nationally in infection prevention in newborn care through a one-minute “pitch” and poster presentation session focused on QI activity at their site, specifying their health outcome; (b) identify from presenters as to what aspects of the program worked and what were the challenges in implementation of the program.

Lung Health | Brain Health | Gut Health | Infection Prevention | Hemodynamics | Preterm Birth | CNFUN | Family Engagement Participants will be able to apply, select or design various ways of delivering improved care to newborns. Participants will have the opportunity to attend 1 of the 8 group sessions: Lung Health, Brain Health, Gut Health, Infection Prevention, Hemodynamics, Preterm birth management before birth, Neonatal Follow-up Network group, and Family Engagement group.

Participants will be able to (a) review the evidence on the association of nursing ratios with neonatal outcomes, (b) discuss management strategies to assess nursing needs in the unit, and (c) discuss management strategies to optimize resource allocation in the NICU.
