How to get there
By bus
The Université Laval bus stop is right in front of the Alphonse Desjardins building. The metrobus (frequent green buses) 800, 801, 804 and others stop here.
Consult the routes and schedules on the RTC website. You can buy tickets at RTC service points, on the RTC nomade paiement application, or on the RTC recharge OPUS application if you have an OPUS card.
By car
Visitor parking is available all over campus for $19/day, with pay stations, and electric recharging for $1/hr. Here's the campus map. Pavilion Alphonse Desjardins is #33 on the map.
There is an outdoor parking lot right in front of the pavilion (#218 on the map), with the entrance on avenue du séminaire/rue des arts.
Indoor parking is available inside the building on level 00 (no. 133 on the plan), at Rue de l'Université/rue de la vie étudiante.
From Gare du Palais
Quebec City is accessible by train or bus from Gare du Palais (450 rue de la Gare du Palais).
By bus: Walk to the Jean-Lesage / de la Gare-du-Palais stop. Take route 800 towards Pointe-de-Sainte-Foy (service every 15 minutes). Get off at Université Laval (30 min).
By cab: About $30
From Ste Foy train station
Quebec City is accessible by train from the Ste Foy train station (3255 Chem. de la Gare).
By bus: Walk to the St Louis/1924 stop. Take route 13 towards Saint-Louis/Sainte-Foy Centre/du Versant-Nord (please note hourly service). Get off at Université Laval (30 min).
By bus other way: Take route 76 towards Aéroport international Jean-Lesage (service every 30 minutes). Get off at Jules Dallaire and take bus 800, 801, or 804 to Terminus Chute-Montmorency, Terminus de la Faune, or Loretteville respectively. Get off at Université Laval (30 min).
By cab: Allow approximately $22
From the Ste Foy bus station
Quebec City is accessible by bus from the Ste Foy bus station (3001 Chem. des Quatre-Bourgeois).
By bus: Take route 800 or 801 towards Terminus Chute-Montmorency or Terminus de la Faune respectively. Get off at Université Laval (20 min).
By cab: Allow approximately $15
Accomodation
Accommodation is at the delegate's own expense.
However, a preferential rate has been negotiated with the Hôtel Universel, located just a few steps from Université Laval.
