The purpose of this training is to provide an introduction to the Prechtl Method of qualitative assessment of general movements in young children.

This assessment method has been proven to be effective for prenatal and postnatal assessment of nervous system integrity. Scientific evidence shows that the qualitative assessment of general movements (GMs) at a very young age is the best predictor of cerebral palsy. This method has become a powerful complement to the traditional neurological examination.
