Language of presentations: the Symposium Organizing Committee encourages speakers to present in one official language and to provide the visual support in the other official language, in order to facilitate the understanding of all attendees, including unilingual French and unilingual English.

Colloque annuel du GRIL (March 19, 2025)

Colloque sur la réussite des études graduées et le potentiel d'emploi au Québec 2025. The workshops will be given in French and the discussion with the invited speakers will be in French. Interventions can be given in the language of your choice (French or English). To register, see the section on this subject.

Types of presentations

Important note: to submit an abstract, you must first register and then use the same email address to submit an abstract.

Long presentations (12 minutes)

  • 12 minute oral presentation (including questions).

  • MSc and PhD students must be in their second year to be eligible to present.

  • Confirmations for accepted long presentations will be sent no later than mid-February, 2025.

Best long presentations (12 minutes) : prizes will be awarded to GRIL MSc and PhD members who indicate they want to be evaluated when they register.

Abstract submission deadline: January 24, 2025

Short presentations (5 minutes)

  • 5 minutes of oral presentation.

  • The question period will take place after a block of short presentations.

  • Confirmations for accepted short presentations (5 minutes) will be sent no later than mid-February, 2025.

Best short presentations (5 minutes): prizes will be awarded to GRIL MSc and PhD members who indicate they want to be evaluated when they register.

Speedtalks (60 seconds) + poster presentations

  • 60 second oral presentation to encourage the audience to come to see your poster.

  • Maximum size of your poster 122 cm x 122 cm (4'x4').

Best speedtalks: prizes will be awarded to GRIL MSc and PhD members who indicate they want to be evaluated when they register.

Abstract submission deadline: January 24, 2025

Symposium registration


Registration fees for members

Registration for the symposium includes coffee breaks, breakfasts and lunches on March 20 and 21 as well as dinners on March 19 and 20. When registering, please indicate the days corresponding to your presence so as not to incur unnecessary costs:

  • Regular members: $120

  • Collaborating members: $180
