Dear colleagues, dear friends,

On behalf of our Scientific Committee, it gives me great pleasure to officially announce that the 1st International Congress on Safe Sport Research will be held from June 18 to 20, 2025 at the Quebec City Convention Centre.

We have planned an exciting program with speakers and sessions representing the importance of conducting research to guide the creation of safe sport environments for all. This first international research-based congress therefore launches a new, structuring, unique and important initiative for the research community working worldwide on various aspects of safe sport. We hope that this first event will not only bring our research community together, but also provide a forum for sharing the fruits of their important sport-related research.

In 2025, for this 1st edition of the Congress, we expect to welcome nearly 400 people, with a multitude of opportunities to exchange ideas, collaborate and enjoy all the pleasures Quebec has to offer. With two pre-congress workshops, international-calibre keynote speakers and sessions featuring rigorous research from around the world, we're working hard to make this new edition of the Congress one that everyone will remember, and one that will launch a new structure of international meetings for safe sport researchers in the future.
