Guidelines for abstract and e-poster submission

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS CLOSED

The Program Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for e-poster presentations.

Three poster prizes (1 500 €, 1 000 € and 500 €) will be awarded to young investigators. Awardees will be presented their prizes during the closing ceremony of the symposium.

Some abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Selected authors will be notified by email no later than the 10th of April 2025.

Abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings.

Abstract formatting instructions

Abstracts must be submitted online and only in English.
The body of the abstracts must not exceed 300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations, funding sources).
The presenting author will be considered as the contact author.
Abstracts should highlight the following points: background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Also, acknowledge source of funding.
Do not include abbreviations in the title. Standard abbreviations may be used in the abstract body without definition. Nonstandard abbreviations must be defined the first time they appear in the abstract body.
Do not use Greek letters and symbols.
Tables, figures, and references are not allowed.
Since the abstract will be published as submitted, proof-read your abstract to make sure it is accurate.
Presenting authors must register and attend the symposium. Otherwise, the corresponding abstract(s) will be withdrawn.
Presenters must be available during the assigned sessions.
A confirmation e-mail from ISIET will be sent to presenting authors upon abstract submission. If you do not receive it, please contact contact@isiet.info.

Preparing your e-poster

Kindly make your poster using PowerPoint in the 9×16 Portrait Layout and save it as a PDF file.

You may upload the file on this platform for sharing it with participants during the meeting. If you do not wish to share your file, you can email it at contact@isiet.info.

All the posters will be displayed at once on SMART TVs from Friday and Sunday, 25-27 April.

Please submit your poster by April 22, 2025, to ensure it is included in the display.

Strict adherence to this deadline is crucial as it will provide the committee with enough time to download and organize the posters based on their respective themes.
