Kids Take Over UBC 2024

On Sunday, February 18, celebrate Family Day on UBC campus with arts and culture activities, STEM workshops, kid-friendly tours, special performances and so much more! Join over 20 UBC departments, faculties, campus attractions, and student organizations, as they entertain, inspire and educate you at Kids Take Over UBC!

Here's how tickets work

  • Tickets provide entry to all participating venues and activities. All activities take place in person, on UBC's Vancouver campus. Check out the lineup of activities by clicking the 'Schedule' tab at the top.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times at the event. All attendees require their own ticket.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and can only be transferred. To request a transfer, email info.utown@ubc.ca and include your name and a copy of your ticket receipt.
  • On event day, on-site ticket sales will not be offered.
  • Due to venue capacities, a limited number of tickets are available and ticket sales will close once sold out.

Ticket Rates

UBC Affiliated (Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni and Residents*): *Residents are those residing in the University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA), Acadia Park or Musqueam:

  • Child (0-13 years) - $7
  • Adult/Youth (14+ years) - $13

General Public:

  • Child (0-13 years) - $12
  • Adult/Youth (14+ years) - $18
