Descriptive Abstracts: Abstracts submitted in this category include descriptions of an educational tool, process, or innovation. These may include curricular or evaluation projects or other interventions that have been implemented and evaluated in your program. A clear description of the project, along with how the project has been evaluated, should be included. Statistical analysis is not required, but may be included, if performed.

Descriptive abstracts should include the following section headings:

·         Needs and objectives
·         Setting and participants
·         Description
·         Evaluation
·         Discussion/reflection/lessons learned

Educational Research Abstracts: Abstracts submitted in this category should consist of research studies with data already collected. They should be hypothesis generated and have conclusions supported by the data presented. Statistical analysis should be included in the submission.

Educational Research abstracts should include the following section headings:

·         Background
·         Hypothesis
·         Methods
·         Results
·         Conclusions/Significance
