Thank you to our Partners
Prisma Health partners with South Carolina’s two largest research universities and most prominent liberal arts university. Together, we have programs for health professions and a robust research and innovation agenda.
Where we differ is that we partner with multiple affiliate universities and degree-granting institutions. We leverage the existing competencies and resources of our partners, rather than duplicating costly infrastructures, to meet shared objectives. We are also the only academic medical center led by a health system, and our mission has a strong clinical focus rather than academic only. Additionally, we do not grant degrees but work collaboratively with our academic and clinical partners to bring more value to students, employers, and the community.
Transformation of health requires new approaches and solutions not yet developed, from the best and brightest minds in academia as well as the front lines of healthcare. Unique in the country, our organization brings three strong academic institutions together with a leading health system to foster new ideas and bring them to life with efficiency, leverage and speed.
