Conference - Lorinda Riley
Simultaneous interpretation (English/French) is available. Dr. Riley holds a joint appointment in the Native Hawaiian and Indienous Health Specialization at the Office of Public Health Studies and Kamakakūokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies at Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge. Her research focuses on understanding Native Hawaiian historical trauma, identifying Indigenous models of restorative justice, and effectuating nation building. Dr. Riley is especially interested in conducting research that will lead to impactful policy change by engaging with Indigenous communities. In her free time, Dr. Riley enjoys watching her kids play sports, trying new foods, and relaxing at the beach.
