Open to all. The Genetics and Environment Working Group will review current and upcoming research in PD that includes aspects of genetics and environment. The GEWG chairs will be stepping down after this year’s meeting, so we are also looking for spirited young researchers to lead the working group into the future!

Open to all. We will review the working group's recent publication on the use of alpha-synuclein biomarkers in the research and clinical setting. Additionally we will have one to two short member presentations and an open discussion for proposals for future projects including efforts to curate sample availability from PSG sponsored studies for future initiatives.

The cognitive/psychiatric working group will hear updates on current projects, such as the National VA Hub and psychosis vignettes, and discuss new project ideas or topics such as work on demoralization, ketamine for PD depression, or a possible collaboration with the functional neurosurgery group.
