Virtual Meetings Description

Our Virtual Meetings will use two types of virtual platforms: FOURWAVES and ZOOM ( 2 subscriptions are required).

The scientific program will be updated regularly and will be available on this site (PROGRAM) as well as on the home page of the 2020-21 VHRN Virtual Meetings. Each half-day will start with the Plenary Speaker from each VHRN axis. The conference will be followed by three (3) sessions of presentations. Sessions 1 & 2, 4 & 5, 7 & 8, 10 & 11, will be devoted to oral presentations and Sessions 3, 6, 9 and 12, for posters. This virtual format will allow up to 32 oral presentations (8 min + 2 min question period) and up to 80 posters in total over 4 meetings. For more details, please see the PRESENTATION INFO page. It should be noted that members participating to these events, both author and spectator, must register on the REGISTRATION page. Registration is free for everyone and it will allow you to have access to all Fourwaves features (quick access to abstracts + interactive virtual poster session platform) .

IMPORTANT: If your register on FOURWAVES before the Monday preceding the meeting, you will receive an email containing all the instructions for your Zoom connection. If you are registered for the first meeting, no need to register again for other meetings.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the best oral and posters presentations. Students will be rewarded after each half-day.

Collaboration with the Journal Annals of Eyes Science

If you authorize the publication of your abstract in the journal, you must submit your abstract in English in the appropriate space and also submit a COI form for each author. The documents are available here or on the ICMJE website.

Accreditation

Virtual meetings will be accredited by the Accreditation Office of the University of Montreal for Quebec physicians.
