Evaluation process and selection criteria
The participants whose posters are chosen for the 2022 poster competition will need to make one to two presentations:
- Tuesday, October 25, 4–6 p.m.: For this first round you will have 5 minutes to present your poster to a pair of evaluators, who may or may not be from your discipline.
- Wednesday, October 26, 4–5 p.m.: The 10 finalists from the first round will compete here. This time you will have 3 minutes to present your poster before a jury of 3 people.
We encourage you to submit a poster even if you have not yet seen any results. A presentation of the anticipated results will also be accepted.
Posters will be evaluated on:
- Presentation of the research topic (with particular attention to the contextualization of your topic in relation to a northern issue)
- Quality of the poster (organization of your sections, logical relationships between visual elements)
- Quality of the oral presentation (ability to popularize the content of your poster)
You can prepare for the competition by consulting the evaluation sheet.
