    Brennan Business Idea Competition: MGMT197 Poster Presentation

    Each semester, students in Management 197 participate in the Brennan Business Idea Competition. The students compete in teams based on their ideas for new businesses that are both for-profit and sustainable. The competition is part of a semester-long project where they must propose, research, and refine their ideas in teams of three to four students. The posters emphasize refining the business ideas, identifying potential competitors, and assessing the size of their target markets. Once the target markets are determined, teams produce income statements and identify the key assets needed to run the companies. Each project must support at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals laid out by the United Nations's Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative. The teams are judged by dozens of guests, both senior Brennan students, DU faculty and staff, and members of the business community. Here is a list of presenting groups
