Patrick Smith completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic. He currently practices as a hospitalist at the San Francisco VA with a teaching appointment at UCSF. Patrick and Don currently are publishing a systematic review on AI and Critical Care Medicine.

Barbara Evans is a Professor of Law and Chair of the University of Florida College of Law and has a joint appointment as Professor of Engineering and Faculty Fellow in AI and Ethics at the University of Florida College of Engineering. Ipsita Sahu is Director of Analytics at Navvis Healthcare. She has a Master's Degree in Information Technology form Virginia Tech and Completed Certification in AI and Healthcare at Harvard Medical School.

Keynote Day 2: Building Clinically Responsible AI – Nina Kottler, MD, MS, FSIIM
Dr. Nina Kottler has been a practicing radiologist for over 20 years. With her clinical experience combined with a graduate degree in applied mathematics and optimization theory, she has been using technological innovation to improve quality and drive value in radiology. As the first radiologist to join Radiology Partners, Dr. Kottler has held multiple leadership positions within the practice. Currently, she is the associate Chief Medical Officer for Clinical AI, serving on RP’s Innovation Steering Committee and Working groups and leading the Data Science and Analytics division of the Clinical Value Team. As a VP of Clinical Operations, Dr. Kottler also developed and practices in Radiology Partners’ remote imaging division, serves internally on their AI, IT, and Culture & Leadership support boards, and runs the Education and Development affinity group for RP’s Belonging committee. Externally Dr. Kottler serves on the following committees: ACR Metrics Committee, ACR Quality, and Safety Conference Planning Committee, SIIM Machine Learning Committee, SIIM Program Committee (Scientific Abstract Reviewer), RSNA Educational Exhibits Committee (Radiology Informatics Subcommittee), and the RAD= Steering Committee. In 2018, Dr. Kottler received the Trailblazer Award - an award recognizing a pioneering female leader in the field of imaging informatics.

He has established pioneering collaborations with leaders in industry, nonprofits, academics, and government. Together they have positively transformed healthcare through strategic collaboration and the latest technologies. His work is published in leading academic journals on a wide range of topics including advances in Ai, predictive analytics, clinical decision support, cancer, infectious disease, neurologic disorders, surgery, pain, anxiety, falls, elder care, determinants of health, telehealth, diagnostics, predictive analytics, value-based care, population health, drug repurposing, cost savings, access, efficiencies, employee morale, strategy, health risk, and safety. He has co-developed and deployed solutions with the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, edge computing, 5G, sensors, wearables, robotics, augmented reality, and virtual reality. Thomas Osborne MD is the Chief Medical Officer at Microsoft, Federal. He is also a Clinical Professor at Stanford School of Medicine (adjunct). Prior roles include Chief Medical Informatics Officer, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Founder/Director of VAs first National Center for Innovation. Dr. Osborne received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his clinical residency and fellowship at Harvard hospitals.

Alan Rampy is an associate professor with appointments in the departments of Diagnostic Medicine and Medical Education at Dell Medical School. His educational background includes a doctorate in neuroscience and cognition and a Bachelor of Arts in experimental psychology, both from The University of Texas at Dallas. He further earned the degree of Doctor of Osteopathy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, and he holds national certification as an anatomic pathologist with the American Board of Pathology. As assistant dean of undergraduate medical education, foundational sciences, Rampy guides foundational science faculty and education efforts, working closely with Dell Med leadership to advance strategic education goals. As part of this effort, he also is director of the Scientific Foundations Committee, a sub-committee of the Dell Medical School Curriculum Committee. Rampy is co-director of the first-year course, Mechanisms of Disease, an integrated 15-week pathophysiology course that introduces the practice of fundamental clinical medicine in the context of underlying associated pathophysiology and foundational science. Rampy is an active member of the Digital Pathology Association Education Committee, and as such has served as program contributor and lead for the DPA virtual symposium for 2022 and 2023. He also served for several years as a member of the College of American Pathologists Digital Pathology Committee, a group charged to advance the adoption of digital pathology, and to serve as a respected resource for information and education for pathologists and others on the practice and science of digital pathology. Rampy is currently a fellow for the College of American Pathologists.
