His credentials include a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley, MBA from Oxford, Masters in Public Health from Harvard, and Sloan Fellow in Global Leadership and Innovation at MIT.

AI and Hospital Medicine – Abhineet Kumar, MD, FAAFP

In addition to leading the Hospitalist program at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Arizona, Abhineet is the director of the AI and Hospital Medicine Virtual Lab Group as well as Governor for the Arizona Chapter of the American College of AI and Medicine. He is a pioneer in using AI tools for inpatient medicine and has presented this work at the Society of Hospital Medicine conference and the American College of Cardiology meeting in 2025.

His work is published in leading academic journals on a wide range of topics including advances in Ai, predictive analytics, clinical decision support, cancer, infectious disease, neurologic disorders, surgery, pain, anxiety, falls, elder care, determinants of health, telehealth, diagnostics, predictive analytics, value-based care, population health, drug repurposing, cost savings, access, efficiencies, employee morale, strategy, health risk, and safety. He has co-developed and deployed solutions with the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, edge computing, 5G, sensors, wearables, robotics, augmented reality, and virtual reality. Thomas Osborne MD is the Chief Medical Officer at Microsoft, Federal. He is also a Clinical Professor at Stanford School of Medicine (adjunct). Prior roles include Chief Medical Informatics Officer, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Founder/Director of VAs first National Center for Innovation. Dr. Osborne received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his clinical residency and fellowship at Harvard hospitals.

Drew teaches residents at Lutheran General Hospital and Medical Students from the University of Illinois Chicago.
