About the Australian Centre for Value-Based Health Care
Established in 2019, the Australian Centre for Value-Based Health Care is the practice arm of the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association, focused on advancing value-based health care in Australia.
At the Australian Centre for VBHC, we recognise that value is not created solely within the public health system. People navigate their health and wellbeing by continually moving between public and private settings and by accessing support both within and outside the health sector.
The Australian Centre for VBHC provides the mechanism to bring everyone together to pursue the collective goal of driving value and improvements in outcomes, sustainably and equitably. We do this by working in partnership with services to support networked problem-solving and develop collective intelligence that is connected to and can inform the policy environment.
