The 2025 VBHC Congress will...
...place a spotlight on the transformation needed to improve the outcomes of Australians and the sustainability of our health system.
Value-Based Health Care (VBHC) is a global movement. Both in Australia and internationally, health services and systems are exploring opportunities to move from a focus on the volume of services delivered, to the outcomes achieved, through a range of transformative programs and policies.
Program overview
The Congress recognises the depth of expertise in Australia, bringing together leaders from across the health system and beyond, clinician leaders, executives, senior managers, consumers, policy makers and researchers, to showcase and share experiences.
Value requires collaboration and recognition of context. We know that Integrated care cannot be achieved when organisations work in isolation. Together we must create a shared purpose and culture across the disciplines - clinical, financial, operational, management, informatics, research and technology - and across sectors - social services, justice, environment, agriculture and more.
The Congress program will include:
Two days of panel discussions featuring health and wellbeing leaders from across Australia and internationally.
Australian Centre for Value-Based Health Care Awards presentation.
Evening cocktail reception networking event.
Our panel sessions
Our facilitated panel sessions are being designed to engage you in discussion that considers the latest evidence, showcases programs across Australia, explores the potential in emerging policies and examine the realities of implementing change across services.
Keynote
We are pleased to announce Associate Professor Hairil Abdullah will be joining us as keynote speaker at the VBHC Congress 2025 to share his experience implementing outcome measurement to drive value, as well as discuss the opportunities that come with artificial intelligence in driving VBHC.
