5th Quebec Congress in Adaptation-Rehabilitation Research

We are pleased to meet, members of the Quebec Rehabilitation Research Network (REPAR), of the INTER strategic grouping on the engineering of interactive technologies in rehabilitation, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR), the Centre for interdisciplinary research in rehabilitation and social integration (Cirris), the centre de recherche de l'Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (CRIUGM), the Research Centre on Aging (Sherbrooke), the Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte-Justine, the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST), the Quebec Network for Research on Aging (RQRV), the Quebec pain research network (QPRN) and the Canadian MSK network to hold the 5th Quebec Congress in Adaptation-Rehabilitation Research 2024.

This year's congress will be held on May 23 and 24 at the Quebec City Convention Center, under the theme "Adaptation-rehabilitation in a changing world".

During these two days, you will be invited to attend a variety of activities, including:

  • Keynote lecture by Professor Pascale Lehoux from the School of Public Health of the University of Montreal
  • Posters and technology demonstration presentations
  • Oral communications by new researchers (competition!)
  • Oral communications by researchers
  • "REPAR Dragons" activity on adapted or inclusive physical activity
  • Introductory workshop on implementation sciences and knowledge transfer
  • Career development and leadership workshop for students and postdoctoral fellows
  • Panel on: " Communicational accessibility and public places for people with invisible disabilities"
  • Panel on user experience (technology usability)
  • Panel on : "Workforce shortages: issues and solutions from a multi-population perspective"
  • Workshop on mapping the ecosystem in which the child with a neurodevelopmental disorder participates
  • “Bullsession” activity on technological breakthroughs for personalized rehabilitation
  • Workshop on equity, diversity and inclusion
  • General assembly of INTER members
  • REPAR awards ceremony
  • REPAR 30th anniversary celebration
  • Student social event (evening of May 23)
