13th International Conference on the Mental Lexicon

Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to announce that the 13th International Conference on the Mental Lexicon will be held in person beginning on the evening of June 3rd with a welcoming reception and concluding in the early afternoon of June 6th, 2025 in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

The conference will be an in-person event, held at McGill University.

The conference will bring together psycholinguistic, neurolinguistic, and computational research on the representation and processing of words in the mind/brain. The conference encourages a variety of perspectives on lexical representation and processing.

As in the past, there will be no parallel sessions, so that we can maximize interaction among all attendees. As in previous meetings, the conference will include both 15-minute platform presentations and poster sessions each day. There will also be a Lunch & Learn session for students and post-doctoral fellows (more details to follow).

For this 13th edition, we are happy to welcome two keynote speakers:

· June 4th: Denise Klein, Director, Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music and Full-time Professor, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University.

· June 5th: Fermín Moscoso del Prado Martín, Associate Professor of Computational Linguistics, Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge & Fellow, Jesus College Cambridge.

The Abstract deadline is February 7, 2025. Guidelines are provided in the Submission Tab. Results will be announced in the first week of March.
